Mark’s 2020 series of sixteen paintings that showcase San Francisco Bay Area art galleries at night, both before and during the pandemic

 These paintings were completed during the pandemic for the 11th annual FourSquared invitational show at Arc Gallery.

The project was originally intended to be a series that celebrated nighttime gallery openings, but the pandemic put a halt to all gallery openings for awhile. So, Mark documented a few closed galleries as part of the mix, helping the series capture the context of the pandemic situation.
